Assessment certificates

We issue end of assessment certificates via PDF templates that Testcraft overlays with key info, such as the test taker’s name, etc. Is there a way to translate the date? Right now, certificates are “stamped” with the assessment’s name (which we can translate) and “On Month ##, YYYY” For our overseas users, we’d like to provide internationalized dates. E.g. in English it might be October 30, 2011 while in Japanese it would be 2011年10月30日 (different order, plus different labels).

If not, would you consider this a feature request for the next version?

Thanks,
Reset password of sub account?

I don’t see a way to reset the password of a sub account from our master account if I don’t know the old password. We had an employee leave. I don’t know what he changed the password to. It seems my only choice is to create a new sub account and copy the assessment there, but then I lose historical data. Suggestions?

Export to XLS or CSV

Does version 7 include the ability to export to a format other than XML? I need to merge two existing assessments into a new assessment (making some changes along the way). I have the XLS import sheet from which one assessment was created but not the other. It would be most convenient to export both exams to XLS (or CSV) to make all the changes, then import into a new exam.

We are a current subscriber, but appear to be running 6.6.x. XML is our only export option.

I have a user the trying to use the rich text editor when creating questions and they are receiving the following error: ‘Exception while executing client event OnClientLoad Error: Access is denied’. Other users are having an issue so its probably PC related. Is the underlyign technology for rich text editor Java? I need some direction to tell our help desk to fix this issue or else they will say its an application problem. I’m 99.9999% sure it’s PC related not the application. Thanks.

We are using Testcraft 5.5 with IE 7

Testcraft Version 7‘s Surprise Feature - Text Placeholders

As a powerful feature originally slated for a later release, Text Placeholders did not make it into the first revision of the Testcraft Authoring Guide. To help fill the gap until the revised guide is out, I wrote a blog post that explains the feature in detail.

You can read the post here: Testcraft Version 7’s Surprise Feature

We’d love to hear any questions or comments.
