Account Level Report Center

Maybe this exists and I’m totally missing it, but it appears that the only way I can get to the Report Center is by analyzing an assessment or survey, and then I am locked into only running reports related to that specific assessment or survey. Is this right?

If so, I can see a tremendous value in having an account level (or higher) Report Center where I would have the ability to choose different assessments to report on, and even report on multiple assessments/surveys in the same report if I needed to.

It currently feels very limiting and cumbersome to report on the results of several assessments, such as if I wanted to pull the assessment results for several assessments all related to my new hire program.

Question Group Passing Analysis Report

Help me understand this report.

I have groups where it looks like there are failing scores for the group, yet the graph says 100% pass.

If there is a detailed explanation somewhere in doc or on a website, just point me in the direction.

Excluding certain custom fields on a survey

I created a series of tests that all use the custom fields that I created. I now want to create a survey that does not use all of the custom fields but a subset of them. How would I do that?

Writing Questions

Does Ingenious offer any classes in writing assessment questions? If not, do you know of any place that does? It would be nice to have some tips and techniques, as well as “checks and balances”, in this whole process.

disable/enable assessments

How can we reenable an assessment after disabling it? Here’s the sequence of events: the assessment was disabled, then archived. All questions were deleted and the revisions were imported (using the tc zip file). The assessment was then enabled, and shows enabled in the assessment editor, but when trying to take the test we get

+++ This assessment has been temporarily disabled. +++

What did I do wrong?

Interface Navigation

It would be really nice to not have to go back to page 1 every time I analyze a question in the Question Summary. For example… I have an assessment that has 100 questions - 6 pages on the Question Summary (under Assessment Results). If I choose a question to “Analyze”, and then use the “Go Back” button, it returns me to page 1 of the Question Summary. If I was on page 4 when I chose to Analyze, it’s really frustrating to have to page back to where I was. I should be returned to the same page I was on when I chose Analyze.

This same frustrating navigation shows up in several areas of the interface… working with resources, etc. I think almost anywhere where there are multiple pages of items.

For the most part the interface is easy to navigate, but this part is frustrating and time consuming.

Timed Assessments

Just curious… I have a timed assessment, 2 hrs 15 mins. In the results that a respondent was emailed the time started was approx 10am and finished at 4pm. The score summary report has his time listed at 2:15. I’m just curious how that can be… I’m figuring that he started the assessment at 10am finished it, but didn’t logout fully so the “time” kept running? When he finally logged out is the time that was captured? If I understand it right, it’s a running clock for the assessment, so if he had any questions unanswered when time was up, they would have been scored as incorrect, right? Since I don’t see evidence of that (like alot of incorrect questions), I am thinking he just didn’t fully logout and that is why I am seeing the funky times. Please confirm or give me other thoughts.

Where are the assessment default settings stored? We would like to move our data and settings from one environment to another.

Respondent Maximum Retakes loophole

Someone always has to test the system.... We have our retakes set at 2, so they can take the test a maximum of three times in attempt to pass. We had a respondent that failed three times and then came in to the same test link with a different email address, took the test, and passed. What can we do to “lock down” our links, or assessments, or attempts better? Please advise, quickly, as we don’t want this to be figured out by others!
