Authoring

Four Assessment Modes - Normal: allow both next page and previous page navigation with question marking for later review; Normal No-Marking: respondent may not mark question for review; Forward Only: no question review or previous page button available; Instructional Review: provides immediate feedback for instructional use as questions are answered.
Test Question Types Available - Multiple Choice, Weighted Multiple Choice, True/False, Multiple-Select, Matching, Ranking/Ordering, Fill-In, Numeric Fill-In, Multiple Fill-In, Dropdown Select, and Essay questions may be included on any assessment, in any order or combination.
Survey Question Types - Choose One, Agree/Disagree, Excellent/Poor, All that Apply, Short Answer, Dropdown Choose, and Opinion questions may also be included on any assessment. There is no restrictions as to when you may use test or survey style questions.
International Language Support - Build your assessments in other languages and character sets like Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.
Anonymous Surveys - Assessments may be set as Anonymous to hide respondent identity or as Anonymous with Custom Fields to capture information such as region, position, functions, etc.
Rich Text Editing and Spell Checking - Our built in Rich-Text Editor allows you to format your questions or answers with the ease of using Microsoft® Word. In addition, a spell-checker makes it easy to correct misspelled words. You may also include HTML in any of the assessment textual elements (question and question group text, assessment beginning and ending instructions, etc.)
Custom Login Fields - In addition to First Name, Last Name, and Email Address, you may capture up to ten additional user login fields. These custom fields may be set-up for data format validation or drop down list support. For example, you may capture employee or student numbers, regions or locations, supervisor names, occupations, etc.
GIF, JPEG, and PNG Image Content - customize your assessments by including GIF, JPEG or PNG images. Use them as assessment logos, question images, or question group images.
Adobe® Flash® Content - Include Adobe Flash content in your assessments with full control over the width and height of the Flash content. This may include Flash video or audio content, allowing you to show rich multimedia during your assessments.
Adobe® Acrobat® Content (PDF) - Include Adobe Acrobat documents as content links for assessment reference material, case scenarios, or policy documents.
Timed Assessments - Specify that a respondent has a given number of hours and minutes to complete an assessment. When the time expires, the respondent will be automatically scored and completed. As an administrator, you may extend the time for any given respondent giving you complete control of their assessment experience.
Customizable Assessment Interface - Relabel any button or block of instructions within Testcraft's assessment delivery engine. Don't like the words "Next Page"? No problem, just relabel the button to "Continue" or whatever you desire. In addition, you may modify the look-and-feel by providing a custom logo for each assessment or changing the color scheme for your entire account.

Reporting

Real-Time Reporting and Analysis - View the results for all of your assessments with the help of charts, graphs, and easy-to-read grids (like a spreadsheet).
Extensive Report Center - Use Testcraft's Report Center to analyze your respondent's data with powerful filtering capabilities. For example, run separate reports for each location or unit within your organization. Easily determine where strengths and weaknesses exist and how to address them.
Five Report Formats - Run reports in PDF (Adobe Acrobat), HTML (Web), RTF (Microsoft Word), XLS (Microsoft Excel), or TXT (straight text) formats. By providing most of our reports in these formats, you are free to print, manipulate, or analyze your data in the tools you are already using.
Detailed Assessment Review - Review summary or detail information by respondent or by question. Testcraft provides multiple ways to review answers provided by each respondent or question level reviews for easy data analysis.
Custom Summary Reports - Create customizable summary reports, choosing the login fields to include and output as HTML, CSV, or XML.
Microsoft Excel® Summary Download - Download summary level information for each respondent as a CSV file (easy to access using Microsoft Excel).
Microsoft Access® Detail Download - Download a snapshot of your Testcraft data in Microsoft Access format for off-line analysis, custom queries, and custom reports.
Customizable Report Filters - Use our simple Web interface to apply custom report filters ("where" clauses) to respondent and question analysis HTML reports. This allows you to view subsets of data based on a respondent's location or supervisor.
Assessment and Question Group Scoring - View your respondent's scores as either an entire assessment or group of related questions.
Email Notifications - Send email notifications each time an assessment is completed by a respondent to either a single administrator or a custom listing of email addresses that you provide.
Question Answer or Explanations - Indicate exactly what the respondent should see at the end of their assessment for a review, if anything at all. Show them all questions or only the questions they have scored incorrect. Show them the correct answers or only a custom explanation guiding them to the answer.
Per Assessment Statistics - Gather important statistics to assist you in determining how well your respondents did overall on the assessment. Get the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation for all scores. See a percentile for each respondent to see how their score compares with other respondents.
Per Question Statistics - View helpful statistics for each question to determine which questions were particularly difficult for your respondents. See which answers respondents select the least or most. Get statistical information for certain question types like the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation.

Integration

HTTP (GET and POST) - Integrate with Testcraft in real-time using standard Website POST and GET communications. Send login data to Testcraft when your respondent clicks on a link within your Website, and receive result data from Testcraft when your respondent completes the assessment.
AICC Integration - Use the AICC HACP e-learning standard to integrate Testcraft with your Learning Management System (LMS). Use the power of your LMS with Testcraft's best-of-breed assessment technology to empower your organization's learning effort.
SCORM and IMS QTI - Use these other major learning industry standards to integrate with the Testcraft software. Our integration flexibility provides you with several ways to get data into and out of Testcraft.
Question Importing - Ingenious Group provides a pre-defined Microsoft Excel spreadsheet which allows you to import specific question types into Testcraft without having to type or cut-and-paste each question individually. We also have import methods for data coming from some of our major competitors.
Data Downloads and Extracts - Download assessment data in summary or detail formats to use when real-time integration is not needed. On-demand data downloads allow you to control which data will be downloads and how it will be used in an integration project.

Security & Privacy

128-bit SSL - Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption security is provided in either 40-bit or 128-bit encryption levels.
Sub-Accounts - Build your account structure with one master account and any number of additional sub-accounts. Use sub-accounts to group similar assessments or control access for additional authors or administrators.
Granular Sub-Account Security - Once your sub-account structure has been determined, you may indicate exactly which rights each sub-account is granted. Allow assessment authoring, account manipulation, result viewing, or any combination of sub-account rights.
Account Activity Audit - View an audit log of the activities taken on your accounts or assessments. This allows you to determine when a particular action was performed within your account or its assessments. Never be in the dark about your accounts' activities.
Enable/Disable an Assessment - Take an assessment offline to make it inaccessible by your respondents. Either provide a start and end date/time or manually set the availability of your assessments.

Testcraft Connect - Our course administration and user login add-on module provides some of the functionality of a mini-LMS (Learning Management System). It allows administrators to pre-register respondents before they enter the course system, and helps to eliminate user security and data-entry problems.
Testcraft Sentry - Our proctoring add-on module allows you to lock an assessment from entry without a valid proctor first entering their ID and password combination. This is typically used in high-stakes assessments where respondent's identities must be validated and the testing session must be overseen by a registered individual.
Customized Development & Add-Ons - Allow Ingenious Group to customize your solution with custom development and add-ons. Our expertise gives us an edge in providing you with a solution that meets and exceeds your every requirement.
Custom Nightly Data Feed - Allows you to receive a data feed each night that we deliver to your FTP drop-box. Can include virtually any respondent data collected by your assessments.
